The Brighter Future Workshop which is a social enterprise based in Lancashire has made it through to the finals of the National Lottery Awards 2011.

The Brighter Future Workshop trains young disabled people to recycle mobility equipment,in which the workshop has already recycled over 5,000 pieces of equipment.

The social enterprise is nominated for the title of the UK's Best Environment Project. People will have the chance to vote for their winning group from the 2nd September. There are seven categories to choose from, with the winner from each category receiving a £2,000 cash prize.
